The office of IRCo would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest appreciation to Mr. Picheat Prommoon for his leadership during his 2-year tenure as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IRCo from 1 September 2019 – 31 August 2021.

His leadership, advice and continuous guidance had ensured a smooth operation of IRCo and improved the effectiveness and efficiency of the operation of IRCo Management over the past two years. Under his leadership, IRCo continued to improve and strengthen our roles and functions as the Secretariat of the International Tripartite Rubber Council (ITRC) as well as serving all Stakeholders.

We appreciate his time in working at IRCo and efforts rendered to the betterment of the tripartite cooperation in rubber. With his vast experiences in rubber sector for more than 40 years, IRCo has certainly improved various aspects of business and non-business functions related to the rubber industry and others related.

During his 2-year contribution, despite the challenges associated the Covid19 pandemic situation in member countries, he was able to provide leadership in implementing programmes related to ITRC and IRCo’s 10-year Plan, as well as his tireless effort in introducing and working on the idea of a new price mechanism namely Sustainable Price Mechanism (SPM) to be implemented by ITRC and IRCo with an aim to improve natural rubber prices for the well-being of smallholders and rubber industry in ITRC Member Countries.

Other than that, he led IRCo to forge concerted efforts in initiating working relationship with key rubber related organisations such as the Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries (ANRPC), International Rubber Research Development Board (IRRDB) and approaching other emerging key rubber producing countries e.g. Côte d’Ivoire, would further strengthen tripartite rubber cooperation and rubber industry worldwide.

With the pathway set by Mr. Picheat for IRCo, under a new headship, IRCo certainly will continue taking the lead on this path, to further enhance IRCo’s performance in delivering an efficient service to ITRC and drives towards the achievement of set goals of its establishment.

We sincerely wish all the best for Mr. Picheat Prommoon for his future endeavours.

Stay Healthy and Safe!
