DCP Updates

The DCP and NR prices in ALL MARKETS, physical and futures, showed significant DROPS (YTD).

The DCP showed some SIGN OF IMPROVEMENT last week and closed at 135.67 US cents/kg on 23 September 2022, but the 14-day and 21-day moving averages remained in a downward trend.

Most commodities, expect for oil and soybean, decreased in price (YTD). Almost all stock indices were also negative (YTD).

TIM currencies DEPRECIATED against the dollar (YTD).

Market Outlook

"NR Markets in Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia have been facing challenges in multiple fronts after the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. Some include the supply chain disruption, weak global demand and elevating inflation".
