NCPO Supported The Utilisation Of Natural Rubber In Road Construction As A Mixture In Asphalt-Based Road In Southern Border Provinces Of Thailand

National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) approved a Fiscal Budget amounting to Baht835.9 million to repair damaged roads in three southern provinces bordering Malaysia i.e. Narathiwat, Pattani and Yala as well as four districts in Songkhla province.
These projects will involve 37 routes covering 165 km of damaged roads. The roads will be repaired within one year using natural rubber (NR) as a mixture in asphalt-based road.
