U.S. Auto Industry Heading For Record Sales In 2015

The U.S. auto industry is on track for a record annual sale as indicated by the continued improvement of its auto sales in October which was far higher than market expectations.
In October 2015, the U.S. automobile sales jumped by 13.6% to 1,455,516 units in October 2015 as compared to 1,281,313 units in October 2014. For the first 10 months of 2015, the U.S. automobile sales increased by 5.8% to 14,507,904 units as compared to 13,707,346 units during the same period in 2014.
The strong U.S. automobile market in October led the Reuter�s to revise upward its annualized sales rate forecast for U.S. automobile sales in 2015 to 17.7 million units. This is a record high of automobile sales since 1999.
