Pestalotiopsis disease (Fungal disease) is affecting 382,000 hectares of rubber plantations in Indonesia especially South and North Sumatra, Bangka Belitung as well as South, Central and West Kalimantan.

Due to the disease, Indonesia’s natural rubber production is expected to drop 15% in 2019 compared to 2018’s production of 3.76 million.
