Courtesy Visit to Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority (RISDA)

IRCo visited RISDA to pay a courtesy visit and discussion with key officers of RISDA at its Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur on 4 July 2024. During the working visit, both parties shared ideas and discussed various efforts to improve the wellbeing of rubber smallholders. IRCo praised the remarkable efforts and programmes implemented by RISDA in Malaysia which could be also extended to other Member Countries. Through improvement of smallholders wellbeing with the implementation of various incentives such as entrepreneurial smallholders, fertigation and economic integration, it is hoped that Natural Rubber continues to be sustainable as a key agricultural commodity.
