Courtesy Call to the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE)

IRCo paid a courtesy call to Ms. Kanjana Kwanmuang, the Deputy Secretary General of the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE) (Economics and Policy) at its Headquarters in Bangkok on 7 August 2024.

During the courtesy call, both parties discussed various matters related to natural rubber statistics, strengthening rubber analysis and the importance of a reflective natural rubber forecasting model which could support Member Countries in formulating policies related to rubber sector. In addition to that, both parties explored the needs and platforms to disseminate IRCo’s Regional Rubber Market Price (RRMP) as a credible Price Reference for natural rubber.
