IRCo paid a courtesy call to Mr. Sukatus Tarngwiriyakul as the Acting Governor of the Rubber Authority of Thailand (RAOT) at its Headquarters in Bangkok on 2 August 2024. Both parties discussed various matters related the upcoming meeting of the International Tripartite Rubber Council (ITRC) and IRCo Board of Directors as well as Thailand’s preparation for the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
Moreover, IRCo also met and discussed with Ms. Athiwee Daengkanit as the Director of Rubber Economy of RAOT on the forecasting model developed under RAOT and explored collaboration in developing a forecasting model for ITRC.
