The 39th Meeting of International Tripartite Rubber Council (ITRC)
26 - 27 September 2024, Bangkok, Thailand
The Senior Officials in-charge of the rubber industry from Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia met at the 39th International Tripartite Rubber Council (ITRC) Meeting on 26 – 27 September 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand. The Council of three Member Countries represents 54% of global production of Natural Rubber (NR).
Member Countries were honoured that Dr. Pornthep Sritanatorn, Assistant Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC) chaired the Meeting. The delegations of Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia led by Mr. Sukatus Tarngwiriyakul, Acting Governor of the Rubber Authority of Thailand (RAOT); Mr. Reza Pahlevi Chairul, Director for Interregional and International Organization Negotiation, Ministry of Trade Indonesia; and Dato’ Yusran Shah bin Mohd Yusof, Secretary General, Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (KPK) Malaysia respectively.
The 39th ITRC Meeting was preceded by relevant committee meetings held from 23 to 25 September 2024.
