The Thai Cabinet Approved Subsidy To Reduce The Burden Of Rubber Smallholders

The Thai cabinet approved a subsidy for NR smallholders with Land Titles. Under this measure, smallholders will get a subsidy of THB1,250 per rai for up to a maximum of 15 rais.
The Prime Minister of Thailand had also given an early warning to farmers to prepare and equip themselves in embracing severe drought forecast to happen next year. The Prime Minister stressed the importance for farmers to properly manage their farms and planting system in facing the drought and possible shortage of water supply in the coming year.
