Visit And Discussion With Vietnam Officials

On 4 February 2015, the CEO of IRCo flew to Hanoi, Vietnam and meet officials from the International Cooperation Department, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam.
Apart from presenting the background, functions and mechanisms of ITRC and IRCo, the CEO discussed matters related to NR cooperation with Vietnam with the officials whom were lead by Mr. To Viet Chau, the Deputy Director-General of the Department.
The Deputy DG accepted ITRC/IRCo’s invitation to participate in the upcoming meeting on 26 February 2015 in Bandung, Indonesia. In 2014, Vietnam is of the main producers of NR with plantations totalling to 0.97 million hectares.
