IRCo participated in the IRRDB Socio Economic Seminar 2026, themed “Strengthening Economic Resilience and Value Addition in the Global Natural Rubber Supply Chain”, on 30 June – 2 July 2026 in Bali, Indonesia. This event was jointly hosted by the Indonesian Rubber Research Institute (IRRI) and IRRDB.
The seminar aims to analyze current global economic and geopolitical dynamics affecting the natural rubber Sector, discuss strategies to strengthen resilience within the natural rubber supply chain, promote downstream development and value-added rubber products, explore emerging economic opportunities related to sustainability and green industry initiatives and strengthen international collaboration to support the long-term sustainability of the global natural rubber economy.
Participation in the seminar provided IRCo with valuable opportunities to gain insights into emerging market trends, sustainability initiatives and policy developments affecting the natural rubber industry. It also strengthened IRCo’s network with international research institutions, government agencies and industry stakeholders, while supporting its strategic role in promoting market development, value addition, and international cooperation for the natural rubber sectors of Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
